Bolivar Cuban Cigars Named after the Venezuelan revolutionary Simon Bolivar, the 19th century liberator of much of South America and still a hero to many in that part of the world.
Bolivar Cuban Cigars are renowned for being the rich and full in flavour. Their aromatic strength pays homage the mighty South American General Simon Bolivar – who the brand is named after. Jose F Rocha established Bolivar Cigars in the early 20th century, though it took twenty years for the brand to be registered in Cuba. Cuban Cigar makers Cifuentes y Cia purchased Bolivar and moved production to the factory of Partagas Cigars. In 1938, Rocha left the company to his three sons who made Bolivar one of the greatest brands to produce Cuban Cigars.
